as i look back

which i sometimes do

(probably more than i should)

i realize

that You have always been there

in some form

no matter how small

even after i ignored You.

trying to erase Your Existance

with a bottle cap or a cork.

why have You stayed with me

all the while?

i am trying to make up for it now

showing you how much I love You

even though i realize

what is Done is Done.

despite these efforts i just
