BUYING TIME

i dropped You off

and You pushed me away

which is Fine

it is natural

a part of the process

i tried convincing myself

but it took all the Strength i had

to hold back the tears

as i drove.

then i came back

to pick You up

as we entered the chapel

i saw your eyes searching

for me

we made Contact.

i may have a bit more time

but it was a good Practice Run.
